    Contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint

    I’m sorry you lost your money. Although it won’t help get your money back, report it to both the FBI and the FTC. You can do it on line. Try prosper.com. Also think about paying off your debt-perhaps contact a free debt counseling service. If contacted by private lender, do not provide any personal info. until you receive a verifiable business name, address and phone number. And if any lender asks for upfront money again, don’t do it-it is a scam. Good luck to you.
